Class 14 (a) and (b), Spell book, by Barbara Brear (8 hours).
We will make a fully printed miniature book, Spells and Potions, with full colour illustrations opposite every page. You will have a choice of colours for the end papers. For the cover you will have a choice between marbled paper covers or a crocodile paper with a gold emblem on the cover. The book will be fully sewn in exactly the same way as a full scale book so the book will outlast you. The fact that the book is printed adds a level of difficulty but there are plenty of guide marks to help you get everything in place. A steady hand and good eyesight (or good glasses) are necessary for the sewing but, for the rest, all you need is an ability to listen and follow instructions. Completion is likely.
